LEFT BY THE SHIP is a feature documentary film which tells the stories of four young Filipino Amerasians, sons and daughters of US servicemen and Asian mothers. Unlike Amerasians from other countries, they were never awarded US citizenship. They now struggle to gain acceptance from the society they live in.
